We're pleased to share our Annual Report, Financial Statements and Climate Change & Sustainability Disclosure for 2023.
As we reflect on a year that has had its fair share of challenges with increased interest rates and inflation, we are proud to share some of the highlights and project milestones we have achieved. We're building 24 homes for our whānau to purchase at our papa kāinga, our commercial residential development on the North Shore performed extremely well in a very tough market, and we are making great progress on the activation of our single largest commercial asset, Te Tōangaroa.
Legislation requires the financial sector and issuers of capital on the NZX from 2023 to release an annual disclosure of climate risks and opportunities using the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) recommendations as a framework. While we are not legally required to report, we, in our capacity as kaitiaki, have chosen to do so to evidence our commitment to making a positive contribution to the global climate challenge.
